Request deletion without installing the app

Email mattstudio94@gmail.com with the subject “MarketAlert — account deletion request”. Include the email address associated with your account and state that you want your account and associated data deleted. Do not send your password or payment-card details. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account to protect your data.

What we delete

We delete your account and associated profile information, optional profile image, saved markets, preferences, notification settings, push tokens and subscription diagnostic events. Data is deleted or anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data that may be retained

Data needed for legal claims, tax, fraud prevention or security may be retained for the required period. Support records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the issue and protect the service. Subscription diagnostic events are deleted after 30 days or when the app account is deleted, whichever comes first. Sentry reports have separate retention under the project settings and are not automatically erased with the account because we do not attach the account ID; we assess deletion requests for those reports. Providers may retain operational records and backups under their applicable terms and configuration.

Google Play subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Manage it in Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MarketAlert → Cancel subscription. You can request account deletion independently; email us if you need help with cancellation.
